Why co-working isn’t going anywhere

As time goes on, COVID is (fortunately) becoming less of a factor within the workplace. But we’re still seeing a lot of people working from home – or turning to co-working spaces.

Why? Because they’ve been offered permanent WFH or hybrid work patterns by their company. Whilst some people couldn’t wait to get back to the office, many are enjoying the newfound freedom of working.

If you’d love to work from home but can’t – then a co-working space is a great middle ground.

The statistics

As an employee, you may have got used to working from home within a hybrid setup and you’re enjoying the freedom. More than three-quarters (78%) of those who worked from home in some capacity said that being able to work from home gave them an improved work-life balance in February 2022. Half reported it was quicker to complete work (52%) and that they had fewer distractions (53%).

What employees want

If you’re an employer, we’ve got news. Job seekers now view hybrid working as a pre-requisite for new roles, with a new study revealing it is now as important as other financial benefits including health insurance, life insurance and group income protection.

Working from home, however, doesn’t have to mean working FROM home. Companies will often subsidise costs to allow their staff to work somewhere where they can be more productive. When an employee is happier working, they’ll work better. Our co-working space in Woolston allows for that productivity to skyrocket.

The benefits of our co-working space

We’ve built a community of people who rely on us to get their work done. This is because we’re open for long hours, with cheap on-site parking and a tonne of benefits.

They don’t have to worry about deliveries disrupting their Zoom call or the internet failing when they need it most. We’ve got super fast and secure Wi-Fi available for all users at Your Key Space.

We also help users save money. They won’t be wasting money on coffees from Starbucks thanks to our in-house coffee machine that delivers amazing tasting coffee for free. Don’t worry, it also does tea and hot chocolate.

Got a meeting? We’ve got you covered. Our private meeting space can handle up to 20 guests and is available to book for just £20hr+VAT as a member.

Unlike Southampton, parking in Woolston is cheap. You get 3 hours free if you’re just popping in, but can stay all day for a low cost too.
